Mission Concepcion, San Antonio

Mission Concepcion is one of the oldest stone Catholic churches in the U.S.  The chapel was completed in 1755.

Some of the mission’s colorful frescos found on the walls and ceilings were restored in 1988.  These frescos represent a unique blending of Christian, Spanish, and Native styles.
